Talking to children about death

It can be hard to tell your child that a loved one has died. We want to be honest but don't want to scare them. Here are some things to keep in mind when sharing such difficult information with your child.

WPSN Toddler Explorer Co-Teacher and Infant Mental Health Specialist Molly Pope answers some of our community's questions and concerns during this quarantine period. At WPSN we recognize that as we all find ourselves grappling with this new normal, many of us have wonderings, questions about parenting, and challenges that we would like support with. Whether or not you asked the question, we hope that you might benefit from the answer. Feel free to submit your own question on this anonymous google form, or send Molly an email directly (molly.pope@wpsn.org).
