WPSN Summer Programs

Summer at WPSN, where we offer a time to connect with sunshine, water, and friends.

Summer Wings - for children who turn 3 years old by 12/31, meets two or four mornings/week
Summer Friends - for 4 and 5 year olds, meets four mornings/week

Children enrolled in WPSN school year programs have priority, and any remaining spaces are open to the community. We draw from Winnetka and all the nearby communities including Wilmette, Glencoe, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glenview and Evanston.

What distinguishes WPSN's summer programs?

Summer programs are staffed primarily by our own teachers. These are the professional, nurturing, and dedicated adults who teach during the school year. You can count on them to handle your child's needs with sensitivity.
Our wonderful playground is an exceptional learning environment. The natural world, a key element of the Reggio approach, is all around us. Watch as our children create rivers, "Grand Canyons" and lakes with water and sand, harvest strawberries from our edible garden, and find all sorts of small creatures worthy of study! Our preschool scientists love summertime.
Each session is a happy balance of free play from among a grand array of choices, a cooling and restful snack, small group work, and a calming group time experience at the end of the morning. On inclement days our classrooms are available for indoor activities.
