Jill Adler
Jill Adler earned a B.A. in Linguistics from Bryn Mawr College and an M.S. in Child Development from Erikson Institute. During the years between college and graduate school, Jill spent time living in her hometown of Cincinnati, the suburbs of Philadelphia, small-town Indiana, and Brooklyn, New York. In Brooklyn, she worked as an apprentice cabinetmaker at a small company that designed and built custom furniture for residential and commercial spaces in and around New York City.

Although the work was physically and creatively fulfilling, she realized that her true passion was working with young children and their families. She moved to Chicago to pursue her education in the field of early childhood at Erikson. Jill spent a summer working as co-director of a start-up day camp aimed at developing social skills and pro-social behavior in children with a variety of mental health struggles between the ages of two and fourteen. Most recently, Jill has been on the staff of The Family Room in Evanston, which provides supportive and educational programs for families with children under age four.
