WPSN Art Show a Roaring Success
On March 20, 2010, WPSN staged our first ever Art Show at the corner of Chestnut and Elm in the center of Winnetka. The event, a combination of
gallery showing and interactive creative activities, was envisioned by our Atelierista (Studio Art Teacher) and a parent volunteer. Parents, Board Members, WPSN
teachers and Skokie School fifth graders collaborated to create this opportunity for our children to show their families and community their ideas expressed in “the
hundred languages” of paint, wire, wood, clay, yarn, tissue paper, photography, etc.
C.Y.C.L.E.S.: a new opportunity at WPSN
Cultivating Young Children's Living Environment (C.Y.C.L.E.S.) was a new opportunity in spring 2009 for
currently enrolled WPSN students. A similar program will be available during the 2009-10 school year.
